Tips for Completing This Plan
- Read the prophets in their historical context. A study Bible or commentary helps greatly here.
- Watch for the pattern: warning of judgment, call to repentance, promise of restoration.
- Notice how often the prophets point forward to Jesus, the suffering servant and coming King.
- Do not rush the hard passages. Sit with the weight of God speaking to his people.
- Keep Revelation for the end, reading it as the climax the earlier prophets anticipate.

Is biblical prophecy hard to understand?
