Every edition is held to the same standard. These are the rules it is written under.
- Scripture followed, not sampledA devotional stays with the passage it opens. Where it traces a thread across several books, it follows the text rather than assembling verses to fit a point already decided.
- Held as it isThe passage is never bent to say something it does not say, and never trimmed to make a neater point than the text allows.
- Quoted in the King James VersionEvery quotation is checked against the text before it is sent, never written from memory.
- Explained to be appliedThe aim is not information. Each one ends with something to do with what you have just read, today.
Who writes it
My name is Paulinus Joel. I am a medical student and a Christian who believes Scripture is not only for Sunday, and I write every edition of this devotional myself.
