Diving into the Word of God is one of the most enriching and transformational practices any believer can undertake. Yet, the sheer size of the Bible can be overwhelming.

As a result, I’ve designed this easy-to-follow 365 day Bible reading plan to help you read through the entire Bible, specifically the Old and New Testaments, in one year. By breaking it down into manageable daily chunks, this plan enables you to steadily work through all 66 books, 1,189 chapters, and over 31,000 verses without feeling overwhelmed.

Each day, you’ll read a selection from the Old and New Testaments, and on certain days, an additional Psalm to complete the Psalms within the year.

This plan is designed in such a way that it becomes easier as you progress.

Now, about ticking off each day after you’ve completed your reading: it’s an excellent practice for several reasons. Not only does it give you a sense of accomplishment, motivating you to continue, but it also provides a visual representation of your commitment to engaging with God’s word daily.

Every tick marks a day spent learning, understanding, and deepening your connection with God. Over time, you’ll be able to look back and see your progress – the ground covered. You can use a calendar for this.

Remember, it’s not about how quickly you can read through the Bible, but the richness of understanding, spiritual growth, and personal transformation you attain through consistent and thoughtful reading.
